Hi, I am back. let us talk about our Action Plan. To succeed we need a plan to help us reach our goal. What is a plan? What kind of plan do we need? What id I don't plan. Let me answer the last question first. "If you don't plan it means you are planning to FAIL" That is correct, without a plan you will not succeed. You become like a piece of wood floating in the sea. At the mercy of wind and tide. No mind of its own, no focus, no motivation to drive us forward.Now for the first two ... A plan at the best is a good guess but to prove it it must be put into action. As for the type of plan, well all of us will need different planning. Why? Because our goals are different. Some will be simple while others more complex and require "Middle Range Goals" These are goals which we much achieve before we can arrive at our final destination. A simple plan could well be saving money to buy a house or car or something like that. But it could be to start up a business, then it becomes more complected. Already defined is "A Business" Then comes Getting the right type of experience; book-keeping, technical know how, contacts, sources for materials and so on. All those will take time hence they are called middle range. Once everything falls into place we can implement the final stage and move forward to accomplish reaching our goal. Are you following me? You should have had enough time to decide your future or what you want out of life. Recall the SMART and how I said S stood for Specific. Have you been specific in defining your "Dream"? Then lets get going. But you say"How will I know when I have reached my goal?" This is where the M comes into play. "Measurable" As in all journeys three key ingredients are a must. Destination, duration and a means to monitor progress. We can change the mode of transport, but not the former three. Take my illustration of my last message. Saving $12,000 in twelve months. Goal and time frame hence I now can check month by month if I am on target. How or where I get the money, legally I trust, does not come into the this equation. If I am on target then all is well, if not action is required. "M" means you know where you are every step of the way. Simple and short. See you next visit. George

Hello again,well you have had enough time to reflect on what you want out of life. What you would like your future to be. LIFE - MANAGEMENT this is what it is all about. We all dream of doing things or going places and at New Year time we make "New Year Resolutions" but we never achieve doing, going or keeping. Why? They were not specific,no clear definition, no real direction.The first step in "Managing your Life" is to set specific goals, both middle range and long term goals. I hear you say "My going, doing, keeping" are they not goals? Certainly, the problem is that is as far as they got. They stayed in your mind, remember I said earlier this is where it all start.Step #1, Think what you want in your life, next Speak it out loud, put it into words, listen to what you are saying and finally Write it down and paste it somewhere you can see and read it every day. By doing this you are making a commitment, but they must be specific, and clearly defined. Illustration: Goal - Save money ... a good goal, yes but not specific enough. Better to say I want to save $12,000 this next 12 months. You see, specific, $12,000 in 12 months. Now I am committed and ready for step #2. So decide and act NOW. Start managing your life. Remember in my last page I said "It is your choice" Well to start Goal setting you must make some decisions. How I wish when I was growing up someone had sat me down to tell me what I am going to share with you now. Step #1 requires you to sit down, relax and ask yourself "What do I want out of LIFE?" "What do I want my future to be?"Now this predisposes that you believe you have a future or can build a future for yourself. So many fall by the way side either because the are not dedicated to reaching their goal/s or lost focus and was sidetracked. Let me tell you what I found out in later life and believe it holds true today for everyone no matter how young or old they are. "The PAST we cannot change." The FUTURE is unknown." HOWEVER although we cannot predict the future, we can influence our future by what we do and the decisions we make in the PRESENT." "IN the HERE and NOW"That is why Setting Goals is so important. There are no guarantees about the future but by the goals we set NOW they will mould our futures. So take time out and meditate on what kind of life you want. In managing our lives we have to undure pain and suffering at times, but never to give up. Achieve the goals we set in life, how? Go the SMART way, Tell you more next time Here is a story I heard recentlyA group of frogs were traveling through the woods, and two of them fell into a deep pit. All the other frogs gathered around the pit. When they saw how deep the pit was, they told the unfortunate frogs they would never get out. The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up out of the pit. The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they were as good as dead . Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the other frogs were saying and simply gave up. He fell down and died. The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and suffering and just die. He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs asked him, "Why did you continue jumping. Didn't you hear us?" The frog explained to them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the entire time. So it caused him to try even harder. This story holds two life lessons. There is power of life and inthe tongue. An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day.George

 Before you can have a successful home based business, you must first possess 3
"intangibles." These are things that must come from WITHIN you. ===> Intangible 1 <===
First, you must have a strong WHY.
Why MUST you have a successful home business? What is driving you? What is it that you CAN'T have in your life anymore and/or what is it that you absolutely MUST HAVE now?
For me, I couldn't stand working 12+ hours a day anymore and missing the experience of my children growing up. I also absolutely HAD TO HAVE the freedom of being able to control my life and finances through a little box (laptop computer) that I could carry with me anywhere in the world and not be tied to anyone's time pressures or demands but my own. That was my carrot and my stick. I felt a great pain deep in my gut of missing out on my children's lives and the incredible freedom that succeeding in a home based business would provide for me. I found my why. You MUST find yours.

You must BELIEVE that it is possible.
If you don't believe that it's POSSIBLE for you to have a successful home based business or make your living from home, you won't. It's that simple.
For me, figuring out that it was possible was just a matter of realizing that many other people were ALREADY making great money working from home. If they could do it, I could too. It would just be a matter of figuring out what those people were doing and then adapting it to my situation.
There is no shortage of undeniable PROOF that people (millions of them) are making money working from home. Just get online
and do some research and you'll find countless testimonials and stories of REAL PEOPLE making real money on the Internet. Or head to your local bookstore and you'll find the same documented evidence of this fact. Truth is, it's getting easier and easier to make money with your own home based business.
I've always said that "affiliate marketing" (a simple way to make money from home) is the job of the future. In the
"old" days, you had to go to a potential employer, apply for the position and hope for the best. Now you can simply go to any company
you want, fill out their affiliate application and start work immediately. Affiliates are the new working class. In fact, making
money with affiliate programs or making your living on the Internet is WAY MORE than possible. It is pretty much (or will be soon enough) unavoidable now. Affiliate marketing is the "job" of the future that's already here TODAY.

You must be willing to MAKE THE LEAP.
Ready, FIRE, then aim... This is the operating philosophy you MUST adopt to succeed with a home based business.
That's backwards for most people who like to aim before they fire. The fact is that home based business success is a moving target... The only thing constant about it is change. You need to stop analyzing the game and simply jump into it. You can't learn from the outside... You have to be IN THE RING to truly understand it.
The lesson here is that you will never really be READY to start a home based business. You simply have to start one. It's like having children... You're never really ready, but when it happens you adapt and grow. This is what I call "Making the Leap."
The good news is that the cost of failure with having your own home based business is very small. In the "brick and mortar"
world you need to evaluate things very carefully before you decide to open up a business. It's almost always necessary to invest thousands of dollars to get an offline business off the ground.
